The purpose of this blog is to provide a repository for scientific publications, religious articles, and additional informative posts relating to the history, peoples, and places of the Book of Mormon. It will focus on Middle Eastern and Mesoamerican studies that provide support for a "Pacific Passage Model" for Book of Mormon geography centered in Mesoamerica and a "Khor Kharfot" model for Lehi's land Bountiful in the Arabian Peninsula. The Pacific Passage Model (PPM) was originated by Dr. F Richard Hauck in his publication Deciphering the Geography of the Book of Mormon , (Deciphering) 1988, Deseret Book. It has been re-introduced by Joe V. Andersen et al. in a recent publication The Pacific Passage Model for Book of Mormon Geography  ( Passage ) 2018.
